The goal of the Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) Program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities for young people in after-school settings as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community.   We provide an effective after-school archery program, focusing on 3-D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery.  As a result, S3DA expects to see increased participation in 3-D and target archery by youth and parent archers using compound bows and traditional archery equipment while also helping to increase participation at local, state and national archery events.   In addition, S3DA expects to help provide a basic understanding and respect for our natural resources, environment and nature, with special emphasis on modern wildlife conservation and regulated sport hunting

This program is open to Victor School District students only.

The Junior Olympic Development (JOAD) program is designed to give students ages 10-20 (9 yrs old with coaches exception) the ability to participate in a youth competitive achievement program through USA Archery’s JOAD Program. This class is centered around continuing to teach the fundamentals of archery with an emphasis on fun, development, and competition. The USA Archery JOAD program offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn proper shooting technique in an environment that also fosters focus, increased self-confidence, and team building skills. JOAD is designed to grow with the youth archer through adulthood and is the development program to elite level competition. We recommend at this level students have their own equipment and that the archer can at a minimum show skills at the Intermediate level meaning they have some experience with competition. If students cannot show proficiency or experience at this level, it is recommended that they start with the beginner or intermediate program. All classes are taught by USA Archery certified coaches and instructors.

JOAD Requirements – Students at this level should own their own equipment. However, if equipment is not available, we will provide equipment during classes. Students who have their own equipment will need to undergo a safety check at the beginning of the class to ensure safety and proper fit. If the equipment is deemed unsafe or does not properly fit the student, he/she will need to use rental equipment provided by Pinnacle.

The Adult Achievement (AA) program is designed to give Adults ages 18+ the ability to participate in an Adult competitive and recreational achievement program through USA Archery. This class is centered around continuing to teach the fundamentals of archery with an emphasis on competitive development. The USA Archery Adult Achievement (AA) program offers both recurve and compound archers the opportunity to learn proper shooting technique in an environment that also fosters focus, increased self-confidence, and team building skills. Adult Achievement is designed to give adults the opportunity to develop within a structured competitive development program. We recommend at this level students have their own equipment and that the archer can, at a minimum, show skills at the Intermediate level, meaning they have some experience with competition. If students cannot show proficiency or experience at this level, it is recommended that they start with the beginner or intermediate program. All classes are taught by USA Archery certified coaches and instructors.

Adult Achievement Requirements – Students at this level should own their own equipment. However, if equipment is not available, we will provide equipment during classes. Students who have their own equipment will need to undergo a safety check at the beginning of the class to ensure safety and proper fit. If the equipment is deemed unsafe or does not properly fit the student he/she will need to use rental equipment provided by Pinnacle.
